Polish company UAU, based in Warsaw designs and creates objects that incorporate 3D printed parts with stock parts to make functional objects. Their latest and most impressive project is a 3D printable stand-alone lamp (also uses wooden supports). This project has been called SMF or Self Made Furniture and can be found on the UAU website.
The assembly of the lamp only requires a set of the thirteen 3D printed parts, wooden spars for the structure, a lamp cord, a lightbulb socket, and a lightbulb. The STL files for the 3D printed parts can be purchased for a minimum of €6 from the UAU website. Assembly of the lamp does not require any glue or nails. Watch the construction of the lamp below:
